Cut the slow parts out of editing.

Hayaku Edit builds small AI tools for video creators and streamers. Each one takes a single tedious editing job — fixing subtitles, finding highlights, reframing for vertical — and gets it done in minutes.

Tools we're building

They plug into the software editors already use, DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop, rather than replacing it.

  • Subtitle cleanup

Takes auto-generated captions and fixes misheard words, game terms and line breaks so they read naturally.

    DaVinci Resolve
  • Highlight finder

Reads a long stream transcript and marks the moments worth turning into clips and shorts.

    DaVinci Resolve
  • Vertical reframe

Turns a horizontal video into a 9:16 short with the important part of the frame kept in view.

    DaVinci Resolve
  • Thumbnail text designer

Suggests several title-text layouts for a thumbnail and hands them over as editable Photoshop layers.

How it works

The tools run on the creator's own computer. We are currently integrating the Claude API for the parts that need language understanding — correcting subtitles, judging which moments are interesting, drafting titles.

Video files will stay local. Only the text a task needs, like a transcript, will be sent for processing.

The tools themselves are built with Claude Code.

About

Hayaku (速く) means "quickly" in Japanese. Hayaku Edit is a one-person studio based in Japan, started in 2026 by a video creator with more than eight years of experience making and editing videos every week.

Every tool starts as something built to fix a real bottleneck in that workflow.
